Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Global Star website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Global Star ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your credentials confidential and secure.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Services.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract source code or non-public data from the Services, except as permitted by law.
  • Use the Services to send spam, harass others, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Violate any applicable laws, third-party rights, or platform policies (including those of the social networks the Services interact with).

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Services ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Services.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

4. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payments

Some features of the Services may require payment. Fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees and taxes.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and other materials, are owned by Global Star or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you. Global Star and related marks are trademarks of Global Star.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services may interoperate with or display content from third parties (for example, social platforms, payment providers, or analytics services). We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or for any other lawful reason. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (for example, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution).

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL STAR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Global Star and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Global Star is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You and Global Star agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by updating the "Effective date" above or through the Services). Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
